I am an experienced Counselling Psychologist and accredited supervisor and trainer in Schema Therapy. I have over 15 years of experience working with adults with complex needs in both the NHS and independent practiceand I provide teaching in Schema Therapy at University College London. I offer specialist supervision for accreditation in Schema Therapy, in addition to broader supervision of clinical practice within my area of specialism. I offer supervision to qualified therapists as well as counselling psychology trainees and those seeking accreditation as a schema therapist.

Within my clinical practice, I specialise in assessment and therapeutic intervention for adults who experience interpersonal challenges related to early years trauma and attachment adversity. I work with adults whose difficulties might be understood as Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Complex Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and Dissociative Disorders.

My approach as a clinician is to work integratively, drawing largely on Schema Therapy but incorporating other therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) where appropriate, and applying this to the area of developmental trauma with a focus on relationship dynamics.

As a clinical supervisor, I am able to offer a safe space to supervisees which is reflective, open and supportive.  The supervision space will allow for both content and process and we will work together to meet your professional development needs. As a supervisor, I am passionate about Schema Therapy, skilled at distilling lots of complex information into a working formulation, particularly skilled in the area of application of schema therapy principles to very complex cases.
