Kim places significant value on the therapeutic relationship and works to build a trusting and collaborative relationship to provide a safe place to explore and understand difficulties. Depending on what brings someone to therapy, Kim may help a client work towards achievable goals to help make ‘here and now’ changes. Or the therapy may be about working through issues from the past to enable the client to consider a different way of moving forward. Ultimately, Kim wants to help her clients to free themselves from unhelpful patterns that keep them stuck and to make different choices moving forward.
