Frankie has nearly 30 years’ experience of working with children and their families/carers, as well as with adults who are experiencing complex emotional difficulties. At Beacon House, she offers therapeutic needs assessments, therapeutic interventions, and consultation for a variety of mental health and relational needs, including the impact of early trauma and dissociation.
Frankie’s style of working is integrative, and she draws on a range of therapeutic styles including EMDR, Therapeutic parenting, Mentalization-based parenting, systemic family therapy and solution-focused approaches depending on what feels most useful. The development of the therapeutic relationship is the most important part of therapy for Frankie. She will spend time gently building trust and a sense of safety for the client in therapy sessions.
Frankie specialises in working with Intergenerational Trauma and Developmental Trauma. She has extensive experience of working with individuals with special needs (both children and adults) and parental mental health issues.
