I am a systemic psychotherapist with 30 years’ comprehensive experience of supporting children, young people, their families and significant carers across NHS, Social Care and Independent settings.
I have over 30 years’ experience as a supervisor both in my social work role, working as a senior social practitioner and as a systemic psychotherapist supervisor. I have been an Association for Family Therapy (AFT) accredited supervisor in systemic supervision since 2005 and have offered clinical supervision to many individuals and Family therapy teams, including live supervision.
I am experienced in offering group supervision to specialist teams such as the Children Eating Disorder Team and the Child In Care team in Surrey and Borders partnership and I supervised the family therapy team in PACE (an organisation in London specialising in psychological treatments with the LGBTQ population) for 3 years.
I taught Family Therapy at the Tavistock Centre for over 15 years and has supported many students in their training. I find it both a pleasure and a privilege to watch students grow and thrive in the mental health field.
I deeply enjoy the supervision process and feel that the relationship built between the supervisor and supervisee is at the heart of learning.
