Hamish Hill is a clinical psychologist with 12 years post-qualifying experience working with children, young people, families, and their networks. Since 2018 Hamish has been working with families with a child impacted by FASD. His passion is working with networks because children (especially those with FASD) do better when their “team” works well around them.
Hamish works with team members as they seek to understand the needs of the child, understand and regulate their own reactions to the child’s behaviour and support one another to be on the lookout for moments of opportunity for the child to learn something new about themselves, their relationships or the world.
Hamish works as a Clinical Psychologist in both the Child and Family and Adult therapy teams at Beacon House and teaches in the Postgraduate Studies Department at Anna Freud.
