From the moment I qualified as an Occupational Therapist I felt passionate about helping others to develop their knowledge and skills and as a result have enjoyed supervising and coaching others for over 20 years now.

I have extensive experience working with and supporting children, young people, their families and educational settings with a wide range of needs. I have enjoyed supporting newly qualified therapists, coaching therapists wishing to the enter this field or just starting out, therapists working as loneworkers and those working in special school settings. I have also supported school staff and teams in developing their knowledge about the children and young people they work with through training, supervision and advice and consultation.

Since I have started to specialise and extend my own learning in providing sensory based trauma and attachment therapy I have wanted to extend my passion for supervision and coaching to support others working in this area. To help broaden the wider understanding of supporting children and young people who have experienced trauma in the hope of making them and their world feel like a safer place to live and thrive.

I believe supervision/coaching sessions should be a safe and secure place to explore challenges, reflect on ourselves and our needs, develop our learning and enable us to feel more confident in our everyday working lives.
