Beacon House is a team of psychologists, psychotherapists, dramatherapists, family therapists and occupational therapists who all share one thing in common: we believe in the healing power of connection and relationships following trauma and ruptures in early attachment.

We are passionate about working closely alongside children, families and adults who are struggling following times of emotional hardship. At our hearts we are activists for understanding human pain through a trauma-attuned lens. This means we believe that our experiences shape us and can sometimes cause us deep pain; and that trauma and adversity can also bring opportunities for growth, wisdom and healing.

We are committed in our ongoing journey to ensure that everyone who comes to Beacon House feels unquestionably safe, welcomed and included. We are curious and open to understand how people’s trauma and emotional distress intersects with other big experiences in their life such as those related to race, gender, sexuality, age, social inequity, neurodiversity and ability.
