Hello, I am Natalie. My approach to supervision is to build a collaborative, reflective and compassionate space where you can bring all parts of who you are. We will start by getting to know each other and understanding what kind of space is helpful for you as a person and practitioner. My hope is that you feel safe enough to think deeply, explore uncertainty, and continue developing both personally and professionally.

Together we will work from a trauma-informed and social constructionist lens, drawing on the Power Threat Meaning Framework (PTMF) and Narrative Therapy approaches. I value a supervisory relationship where supervisees can bring both their strengths and uncertainties into the room. This includes exploring the experiences of the people we support, as well as how our own identities, values, assumptions and emotional responses shape our practice and impact us.

I have supervised on a 1-2-1 basis and with groups, working with people from a range of backgrounds and professional disciplines across health, social care, charity and criminal justice settings. I am interested in co-production and in thinking collaboratively about how services are designed so they feel more accessible, inclusive, and responsive to the people who use them.

I aim to balance support with thoughtful challenge, encouraging curiosity, critical reflection and confidence in decision-making. I recognise that supervision should be responsive to each supervisee’s individual needs, stage of professional development and working context, and I strive to create a space where learning feels collaborative rather than evaluative.

My experiences as a supervisor have helped me learn as much as I hope those I have supervised have learnt too. I enjoy thinking together and hearing new ideas from others, and I welcome challenge and critique so that we can deconstruct ideas and approaches together.
