Gain a deeper understanding of the decisions you make in relation to difference and diversity.
Experience a psycho-analytical exploration into difference and diversity from the standpoint of the attendee first. The aim will be for attendees to explore unchecked prejudice that unconsciously inform our day to day choices including the people we treat, teach and choose and those that get left behind. The session will be challenging and gently but implicitly self exposing.
Who this course is for
This seminar is suitable for all professionals working in mental health, education and social care; attendees should feel grounded in their professional role but curious about the themes this seminar explores. You will be exploring ‘self’ and ‘others’ and will be asked to do so confidentially and without judgement.
- A deeper personal understanding of what drives our individual decision making,
- A ‘making conscious’ of unconscious processes that inform our unchecked motivations and avoidances.
- A renewed and informed perspective on how we as individuals allow our experience to inform our choices and decision making.
