Keeping PACE: Using Relationships to Grow Attachment Security and Regulation Skills in Young People

Trainer: Dr Kathryn Whyte, Clinical Psychologist

This course builds on the introductory course above. We will focus in more detail on what dysregulation might look like for young people with different attachment styles and think about the impact on our thinking and feelings in working relationships with young people. We consider what’s going on in our ‘relationship brains’ when we work with young people and focus on linking theory with skills and practice using Dan Hughes’ PACE – an attitude for working therapeutically.
